Sponsorship

Placement is for sale.
Judgment is not.

uxspot.io is a free, independent, ad-free UX reference, written and maintained by one designer since 2021. It stays free. Sponsorship is how a company can be visible here without changing what the reference says: sponsors are always labeled, and they never buy a curriculum mention, a glossary link, or a place in the curated tools list.

Reach

What a sponsor reaches.

One reference across four surfaces — the site, the assistants it feeds, the canvas it coaches in, and a daily game. Every number is counted from the repository itself.

A curriculum, read end to end

78 topics across 13 chapters and 203 glossary terms — a structured course designers work through, not a feed they scroll past.

See the curriculum

1,400 calls a day

The MCP server answers Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT from the same reference — hand-counted, August 2026.

12 checks inside Figma

The plugin runs cited design checks in the canvas, in English and French — where the work actually happens.

Checked and curated

214 checklist items · 54 tools

Interactive checklists designers tick their way through, and a hand-picked AI x UX directory. Listings are earned, never sold.

Three ways to support uxspot.io

Exclusive · site-wide

Supported by

One sponsor, site-wide, clearly labeled: a credit at the end of every Learn UX article, a line in the footer, a card on the homepage, and a credit inside Spot Check. Not an ad network, not a tracker in sight.

Directory

Tools directory slot

A visibly labeled sponsor card in the AI x UX tools directory, separate from the curated listings. The curated list itself stays unpaid, and always will.

Open source

Sponsor the repositories

The MCP server and the Figma plugin are MIT-licensed. Support them directly through GitHub Sponsors — no placement, no invoice, no agreement to sign.

What the placement looks like

At the end of every Learn UX article, in the footer of every page, on the homepage grid, and inside Spot Check — one sponsor, always labeled.

Rates

What you get, and what it costs.

The site-wide credit renders at the end of every Learn UX article, in the footer of every page, as a card on the homepage, and inside Spot Check. One sponsor at a time.

Site-wide "Supported by"
$250 / month was $400
Directory sponsor card
$125 / month was $200

Three, six or twelve months, paid in full at checkout. The founding rate is locked for renewals within twelve months of your start date.

Boundaries

What is never for sale.

Sponsorship buys placement. It has never bought any of these.

  • ▸ THE TOOLS DIRECTORY A place in the curated list. Tools are there because they earn it, and no listing carries an affiliate link. A directory sponsor card sits beside the list, never inside it.
  • ▸ THE REFERENCE ITSELF A mention in the curriculum, the glossary or the checklists. Not for sale at any price, to anyone, including a live sponsor.
  • ▸ THE PLUGIN AND THE SERVER The Figma plugin's rules and the MCP server's answers. Both cite the reference, and the reference is not influenced by who is sponsoring it.
  • ▸ READER DATA There is none to sell. The site is cookieless and collects nothing about the people reading it, so a sponsor gets audience numbers and nothing else.

Before you book

Questions, answered

Yes. Checkout takes PayPal because it is the only rail that works end to end for a Morocco-based publisher, but deals arranged by email are billed quarterly in advance by invoice, due within 14 days. Write to hello@uxspot.io and you will get an invoice with a PO reference on it.

Nothing is held until payment, so they can. The calendar only offers windows that are genuinely free, and checkout re-checks availability before it charges you — if someone paid for your window first, the payment is refused rather than taken. Email hello@uxspot.io and a specific window can be held by hand while paperwork moves.

The figures on this page are counted from the repository itself. For traffic, ask: you will get the same aggregate snapshot the media kit carries — visits, page views and top pages — with its date on it. No impression or click level is guaranteed, and the numbers are good-faith snapshots rather than commitments.

No. The product has to be usable by, and honestly marketed to, designers and product teams. Placements are refused for products built on deceptive patterns, undisclosed data harvesting, or claims that appear false. One round of edits on copy and tone is normal.

Either side can end it with 14 days written notice, and the refund is counted in days, not months: unused days divided by the days in your term, multiplied by what you paid. The money goes back to the original payment within 10 business days, with nothing deducted for processing fees. The full clause is printed below.

Never. The curated list is unpaid and stays that way, and a listing you already have is unaffected during and after the term. A directory sponsor card is a separate, visibly labeled slot beside the list, not a place in it.

Agreement

The agreement, in full.

Every placement runs on the same short insertion order — including how it ends and what gets refunded. The identical text, with your deal filled in, is what you accept at checkout and what lands in both inboxes afterwards.

Publisher: Soufiane Chraibi, sole operator of uxspot.io. Questions before you book: hello@uxspot.io.

  1. 1. Sponsor assets

The Sponsor provides a display name, one plain sentence (max 90 characters, a factual product description — no superlatives presented as fact, no claims about uxspot.io), a destination URL (the Publisher appends ?ref=uxspot so the Sponsor measures clicks on their own analytics), and optionally a square logo (SVG, or PNG at 256 px or larger; rendered small, possibly monochrome). The Publisher may request one round of edits for tone and length, and may decline copy that conflicts with the sponsorship policy.

  2. 2. Go-live and billing

Booked online at uxspot.io/sponsor/book, the full term is paid upfront at checkout. Deals arranged by email are billed quarterly in advance by invoice, due within 14 days. The placement goes live within 2 business days of the Publisher receiving approved assets and first payment; it does not go live before. If go-live is delayed by the Publisher, the term shifts day-for-day.

  3. 3. Labeling and editorial independence

Every placement is visibly labeled. Sponsorship buys placement only — never a mention in the curriculum, glossary or checklists; never a listing or ranking change in the curated tools directory; never a change to the Figma plugin's rules or the MCP server's responses. Any curated listing the Sponsor already has remains unpaid and unaffected, during and after the term.

  4. 4. Data and measurement

uxspot.io is cookieless and collects no reader data; none is shared. On request, the Publisher shares a monthly snapshot of aggregate analytics (visits, page views, top pages). No impression, click or traffic level is guaranteed; media-kit numbers are good-faith snapshots, not commitments.

  5. 5. Availability

The site is a static build on redundant hosting, kept live on a best-effort basis. If the placement is missing site-wide for more than 72 consecutive hours for reasons within the Publisher's control, the term extends day-for-day.

  6. 6. Content standards

The sponsored product must be usable by and honestly marketed to designers and product teams. The Publisher may refuse or terminate placements for products built on deceptive patterns, undisclosed data harvesting, or claims the Publisher reasonably believes to be false.

  7. 7. Termination and refunds

Either party may terminate with 14 days' written notice (email suffices). The placement runs, and is paid for, through those 14 days; the term ends when the notice period expires. Whoever ends it, the refund is the same and is counted in days, not months: unused days divided by the total days of the term, multiplied by the amount paid. Termination by the Publisher for cause under content standards is immediate rather than noticed, and unused days count from the day the placement comes down. Refunds go back to the original PayPal transaction in USD within 10 business days of the termination taking effect, with nothing deducted for payment-processing fees. If anything about a payment or a refund looks wrong, email hello@uxspot.io before opening a PayPal dispute — it reaches the one person who can actually fix it.

  8. 8. Liability and general

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages; the Publisher's total liability is capped at fees actually paid. This order is the entire agreement for the placement described; changes are valid only in writing (email suffices). Neither party uses the other's name in marketing beyond the placement without written consent, except that the Publisher may state factually that the Sponsor sponsors uxspot.io.

Book it, or ask first

Booking is self-service: pick a placement, take a start date that is still open, and pay by PayPal — the signed insertion order lands in your inbox the moment payment clears. Rather ask something first? Write to a person, not a form.

You just read the agreement in full — refunds included. Nothing else to sign.
