uxspot.io is made and run by Soufiane Chraibi, an independent designer based in Morocco ("I", "me"). These terms govern your use of uxspot.io (the "Website") and the free software I distribute alongside it. By using the Website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. uxspot.io is a free resource for learning User Experience design: articles, foundations, tools, checklists, free assets — plus a Figma plugin and an MCP server that bring the same reference into the tools where you work. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. The one thing that can be bought here is a sponsorship placement, governed by its own section below.

Using the Website

You are welcome to read, reference and share links to the content for your own learning and professional development. In return, you agree not to:

• Use the Website for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its server, or any connected system, or probe or circumvent its security.
• Systematically scrape, harvest or bulk-download the content, or use automated means to overload the site.
• Republish substantial portions of the content as your own, or resell or redistribute it, without my written permission.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content and design of uxspot.io — including text, articles, illustrations, the logo and the brand name — belong to uxspot.io or are used with permission. You may quote and link to the content with attribution. You may not reproduce it wholesale, or use the uxspot.io name or logo, without my written consent. Where I make assets available specifically for free download, you may use them under the terms provided with those assets. The open-source software is the exception to this section: it is yours to use under its own license, as described below.

Software I distribute

Beyond the Website, I publish free software: the uxspot Figma plugin (available on Figma Community and as source code) and the uxspot MCP server. Both are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and the limitation of liability below applies to them exactly as it applies to the Website. The plugin reviews design files and suggests changes — every change it makes is undoable, and applying any suggestion remains your decision and your responsibility.

Two other sets of terms travel with this software. Installing the plugin through Figma Community is additionally governed by Figma's own terms, and Figma — not me — operates that marketplace. The source code of both projects is published on GitHub under the MIT license; the license file in each repository, not these terms, governs what you may do with the code.

Sponsorship purchases

Companies can book a sponsorship placement at /sponsor/book. These are business-to-business purchases, sold by Soufiane Chraibi, sole operator of uxspot.io, whose registered business address appears in full on every invoice I issue. The insertion order shown and accepted during checkout — and delivered to both parties by email with its invoice — is the contract for the placement, and its terms (placement, dates, fees, asset rules, cancellation and refunds, liability) govern it. Payment is processed by PayPal under PayPal's terms; I never handle card details. What sponsorship can and cannot buy is published in the sponsorship policy — in short, placement is for sale and judgment is not. If anything in these website terms conflicts with an accepted insertion order, the insertion order prevails for that placement.

Third-party links

The Website links to other sites and resources I think are useful. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion, and their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave uxspot.io.

No professional advice

The content on uxspot.io is provided for general educational purposes. It is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice, and using the Website does not create any advisory or professional relationship between you and me. Apply your own judgment before acting on anything you read here.

The Website is provided "as is"

I work to keep the content accurate and the site available, but I provide the Website "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. I do not guarantee that the content is complete, current or error-free, or that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. I may change, suspend or remove any part of the Website, or take it offline for maintenance, at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, uxspot.io and the people behind it will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its content — including any indirect or consequential loss. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

uxspot.io is operated from Morocco. These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, and any dispute relating to them will be subject to the courts of Morocco, except where mandatory local law grants you other rights.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted here, and I will revise the "last updated" date shown alongside this page. Your continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
