A small, contained moment of feedback or animation around a single task, like a toggle flipping or a like button bouncing, that adds clarity and delight.
Why it matters
They are how a product acknowledges you: the toggle that snaps, the heart that pops. Individually trivial, collectively they are the difference between software that responds and software that merely reacts.
