Problem Statement

A problem statement is a clear description of the issue (problem) which also includes a vision and methods used to make ways into solving the problem.

Why it matters

It is the contract that stops solutioneering: agree on the problem before anyone sketches. A good one names the user, the need and the insight — and contains no feature in disguise.
